Used for bloodstream infection Specific’s solution provides results 2 days sooner than existing methods, saving patients suffering from drug-resistant infection.

The Job

This is a critical job for our growing company, reporting to our CEO, and working in close partnership with our C-level team. The job requires great organizational and communication skills, the ability to handle anything, and switch gears at a moment’s notice. A high level of discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is imperative. Key to the position is the ability to deal with people of every station, handle complex administrative support for leaders, to keep them organized, prioritized and on time while maintaining a high level of professionalism and positivity. The role will include the following:

  • Organizing, prioritizing and appropriately handling time-sensitive, confidential information and ensuring action/attention required is addressed.

  • Coordinating a dynamic meeting schedule for the CEO and other C-level executives including making arrangements for in person meetings and video conferences.

  • Meeting minutes for weekly senior team meetings.

  • Support of video conferencing, teleconferencing, meeting materials and team social events.

  • Assistance with domestic and international travel arrangements

  • Event coordination which may include: planning, negotiating with and securing vendors and venues, creation of purchase orders and event logistics.

  • While others will do this as well, you will answer phones and route calls to the correct person, or professionally greet visitors if needed.


You are driven, and self-driven, capable of anticipating what needs to be done and making it so with minimal supervision. You have a proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently. You consistently act with a high level of discretion while juggling many tasks at once. You should have a track record of success and have these characteristics and skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience

  • Comfort in handling confidential information and dealing with professionals of every level inside and outside of the company.

  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Well-versed in the Microsoft Office

  • Impeccable attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time, work late or come in early when it is necessary.

  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Full fluency (verbal and written) of the English language is a must.

  • Comfort in handlings things with aplomb when a multiplicity of urgent matters converge.
